Ministry Services Grants and Scholarships
The Office of Ministry Services administers two funds for grants and scholarships:
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Eligibility for Leadership Development Grants is limited to those who are involved in the ministry of the Reformed Church in America and require a statement of expectations.
"The Ministry of the Reformed Church in America" shall include ordained RCA ministers, ordained RCA Elders and Deacons, and non-ordained students currently under care of a classis preparing for ordination.
Applicants are expected to make a personal financial investment in their plan for leadership development.
Grants are limited to programs consistent with Reformed theology.
The maximum grant for any single experience or program will not exceed $300.00 per person. Subsequent requests for grants for continued in-depth experience will be evaluated on the basis of potential usefulness.

THE NEW JERSEY BENEFICIARY FUNDS
The New Jersey Beneficiary Funds are available to students who are enrolled at Rutgers University and are engaged in preparation for the Ministry of theReformed Church in America. "The Ministry of the Reformed Church in America" shall include:
- undergraduate RCA students preparing for seminary
- ordained RCA ministers engaged in graduate work
- undergraduate RCA students preparing for careers within the church
- ordained RCA ministers attending Rutgers School of Alcohol Studies
- RCA students seeking to develop skills for use within the church
Grants from the New Jersey funds will be limited to the actual costs of tuition fees, board, room, and books required for courses while a student is at Rutgers University.

The Office for Ministry Services will approve applications for use of the New Jersey Funds according to the above guidelines, and within the limitations of available resources.
