CAMPUS MINISTRY TEAM: The Campus Ministry Team is made up from several people from 5 different universities in Michigan. Some are senior pastors at churches associated with each college and others are lay people from the churches. They serve to minister to college student and offer a variety of ways for students to get involved in ministry programs, service projects, and mission trips. CHURCH MULTIPLCATION TEAM (CMT): The Church Multiplication Team serves to plant new churches in the Great Lakes Region. They work to not only find a planter but also a good location for the new church plant. They work cooperatively with each of the Classes. CLASSIS CLERKS: Classis Clerks are the designated communicator for their classis and therefore serve a vital link connecting the Great Lakes Region with individual congregations from each classis. There are 8 Classis Clerks who are each responsible for their specific classis within the Great Lakes Region. COMMISSIONED PASTOR COUNCIL: Gifted leaders committed to commissioning needed and quality people, and training leaders who will honor Christ, bless the church, and help grow the Kingdom. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: The Executive Committee functions as the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Region. They also assist the region in several decision making processes. FINANCE COMMITTEE: The Finance Committee is in charge of approving the budget and major financial decisions for the Great Lakes Region. Committee members serve a four-year term. GREAT LAKES OFFICE STAFF: The Office Staff, made of up 5 full-time employees and 1 part-time employee, host several meetings and events and oversee the every-day business matters for the Great Lakes Region. GREAT LAKES TOTAL STAFF: The Total Staff includes all the members of the office staff as well as several part-time program staff, editorial staff, a treasurer, and a Stated Clerk. GREAT LAKES REGION HOUSES OF PRAYER EQUIPPING (G.L.R. H.O.P.E.): Prayer is very important in the Great Lakes Region and the H.O.P.E. team provides constant prayer support. They also enlist, equip and empower congregational prayer leaders and pastors for vital prayer ministry in every Great Lakes Region church. OVERTURES & JUDICIAL BUSINESS COMMITTEE(OJB): Reviews all matters of a judicial nature and reports to the assembly with recommendations for action, and forwards all overtures to the Great Lakes Region with recommendations for action. SPECIALIZED INTERIM MINISTERS (SIM's): SIM's are RCA pastors who work under contract with churches who currently do not have a pastor and are in the process of looking for another full time pastor. SIM's work through the revitalization process with the church. SIM's OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE (SIMOC): The SIM's Oversight Committee is made up of a handful of people who work to assist and evaluate the SIM's in each of the church congregations that the SIM's are assigned to. URBAN MINISTRY TEAM: The Urban Ministry Team provides ministry to nearly 20 urban congregations and organizations. They are also very involved with the Kid's Hope program. YOUTH MINISTRY TEAM: The Youth Ministry Team organizes many service opportunities, camps, and mission opportunities for RCA youth.
