- Participating in peace-building efforts through support for the Resource Center for Civil Leadership (RECONCILE) and RECONCILE's trauma-healing and training center in Yei, Sudan.
- Supporting the work of RCA missionaries who serve the people of Sudan: the conflict resolution and peacemaking ministry, the literacy training work of Greg and Ruth DeHaan, and advocacy for African refugees in Cairo by Kathy Kamphoefner and Paul Pierce.
- Supporting the work of Church World Service with refugees both in Africa and as immigrants through prayer and financial support.
- Sponsoring Sudanese refugees.
