Things to do before registering

  • If you are flying: Book your flights before you register for General Synod, following the Arriving by Plane instructions. You will need to provide your airline name, flight numbers, and arrival/departure dates and times if you are flying to synod. 
  • If you are driving: Know your planned arrival and departure dates, because you will need to provide them at registration. For more information about mileage reimbursement, check out the Arriving by Car instructions. 
  • If you plan to bring your spouse: Please read the information regarding “Bringing a Spouse” in the FAQ section before registering. You will need to decide if you will purchase a spouse meal package or not prior to registration. 
  • If you hope to arrive early or stay late in Tucson for personal reasons and stay at the Westin: Read the FAQ section on “Arriving Early or Staying Late” . You will register for your additional nights in registration, but you will be responsible for payment directly to the Westin for those nights.
  • Check out the Meals at Synod – There will be some special meals that you can sign up for so it’s important you check this out prior to completing your registration.
