Neevel Named RCA Director of Development
Ken Neevel has been named the RCA's new director of development. He will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing a comprehensive fundraising strategy for securing financial gifts and grants in support of the mission and vision of the RCA.
Neevel will begin his new position on September 6.
Neevel currently serves as vice president of advancement and communications for Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. Previously, he served as associate director of admissions at Hope College.
"I come from a family that has a long and rich tradition within the RCA," Neevel says. "I've been a member of the RCA my entire life, and six generations of my family have been pastors and missionaries within the RCA. I love this denomination and I absolutely feel called to serve the church in this position."
Neevel is an elder at Trinity Reformed Church in Holland. He has served on several denominational committees including the Church Herald Editorial Council and the General Synod Local Host Committee.
