Volunteers The RCA Mission Volunteer Program offers hundreds of ways for people to serve in North America, and around the world. Are you interested in volunteering? See our "Guidelines for Planning a Volunteer Experience" page for helpful information or see how you can get involved now below. Volunteer Opportunities Get Involved Now The volunteer program is aware of the needs of our mission partners, our ecumenical partners, and of needs within the Reformed Church in America. These needs are as diverse as the gifts and talents of the people in our congregations: - A community needs teams to help repair houses damaged in recent hurricanes.
- Schools in Bahrain and Japan need teachers.
- A missionary family in West Africa needs a teacher for their children.
- A camp in Kentucky needs builders and teams to help get ready in the Spring.
The RCA Mission Volunteer Program works with the RCA's partners around the world, the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee - Disaster Response Services, our Formula of Agreement Partners, the ELCA and PCUSA, and a variety of ecumenical partners ands organizations. We thank all of our partners as we seek to work together, serve together and not duplicate services. Volunteers link congregations to other cultures and help them get to know their Christian brothers and sisters across the ocean and across the street. It is our hope that even one person's volunteer experience can bring growth and benefits to an entire congregation.
