They support their community in a variety of ways through affordable housing, prison ministry, a thrift shop, support for human trafficking victims, disaster response, and more. They have hosted hundreds of volunteers in the last two years since Hurricane Sandy hit the Jersey Shore.

Volunteer opportunities: 

Volunteer teams are invited to come alongside the dynamic community ministries of the Reformed Church of Highland Park. Teams may help rehab an old building to become transitional housing for the homeless, support the church’s community outreach to children and families, or help restore a home that was devastated by Hurricane Sandy. You can be an integral part of how God is at work in New Jersey!

Accommodations: 

Groups will be housed at the Reformed Church of Highland Park. Group members will need to bring bedding and air mattresses to sleep on the floor. One shower is available on site and nearby church members welcome group members to take showers in their homes. The church will provide breakfast and dinner as well as supplies to pack a lunch.
