Short-Term Mission

"As the Father has sent me, so I send you." --John 20:21

As followers of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to serve the lost and hurting and to proclaim the good news of the gospel in our local community and throughout the world. Each of us has been called to participate in God's mission. Each of us is SENT.

RCA Short-Term Mission exists to help you engage personally in God's mission through meaningful volunteer opportunities. We believe that as people serve in the name of Christ, whether in their local community or around the world, the impact of that service will change lives--the lives of those being served, of those who serve, and of the churches that send.

COVID-19 update: For the safety and health of our volunteers and the communities they serve, Short-Term Mission recommends cancelling mission trips scheduled to begin before June 30.

My Voice: Showing Weakness

The past year and a half I have been working with the youth of my church in various ways. I have been overly careful in everything I say and do in order to avoid being misleading or say the wrong thing. After all, one wrong word could ruin the rest of their lives, right?
