It is with great pleasure that the Regional Synod of New York announces that the Rev. Amy L. Nyland has agreed to serve as the executive minister of the synod.
Most recently, she was pastor of Reformed Church of Cortlandtown in Montrose, New York. She has also recently been serving as coordinator of the pastoral care/chaplain program at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, New York.
Rev. Nyland began her work on a part-time basis on March 1 and moved to full time on May 1. This is an important moment in the life of our synod and we eagerly look forward to working with her in the years to come.
