I want to set up Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)/direct deposit for my recurring retirement distributions.

You may set up EFT to have your distributions directly deposited into your bank account by accessing your account on NetBenefits at www.netbenefits.com/atwork or by contacting Fidelity at 800-343-0860.

I am an employee of an RCA employer and am at least 59.5 years of age but not yet retired. I would like to withdraw a portion of my RCA Retirement Plan.

You may take annual lump sum distributions up to a maximum of 5% annually of the  account balance as of December 31 of the prior year to be paid each year thereafter by March 1. The lump sum is optional and in addition to the systematic withdrawals you will receive upon being declared retired. This election is irrevocable. Complete the RCA Retirement Plan Distribution Form #72175 and submit it to the BOBS office.

I am not yet 59.5 years of age, am currently experiencing an unforeseeable emergency and need to request a one-time distribution.

Section 7.2 of the plan document defines an Unforeseeable Emergency as a severe financial hardship to the participant or other similar extraordinary and unforeseeable circumstances arising as a result of events beyond the control of the participant. Examples of what are not considered to be Unforeseeable Emergencies include but are not limited to, the need to pay for tuition, purchasing a home, and unemployment. Reference section 7.2 of the plan document beginning on page 8:

For approval, write to the Board of Benefits Services stating the nature of emergency and dollar amount needed to satisfy need; an itemized list may be necessary to avoid a distribution that exceeds financial need. Complete the RCA Retirement Plan Distribution Form #72175 and submit it to the BOBS office.

I have recently been diagnosed with a disability that prevents me from being meaningfully employed. I need a stream of income.

Upon documented disability with a loss of compensation and before installment distributions have begun, you may begin installment distributions from the plan. Complete the RCA Retirement Plan Distribution Form #72175 and the W-4 form and submit them to the BOBS office.

I need to update my beneficiary forms.

You may designate or change your beneficiaries through NetBenefits at www.netbenefits.com/atwork or by contacting Fidelity at 800-343-0860.

I am retiring or resigning from my RCA employer.

The BOBS office will need a confirmation of your date of retirement or resignation from your employer. Upon retirement or resignation, you will be required to begin taking installment distributions or take a full payout. Complete the following forms and submit them to the BOBS office:

My marital status has changed.

I am now divorced and the Judgment of Divorce calls for a division of the RCA Retirement Program.
