Chris and Ren Briggs

Imagine living in a world where you were unable to communicate the same way as those around you. You might feel isolated, frustrated, and misunderstood. This scenario isn’t far from reality for the global Deaf community. It’s estimated only three percent of Deaf children worldwide receive their education in a signed language, many of them suffering from language deprivation for the rest of their lives. That means millions upon millions are denied the language access to understand the greatest message ever given—the gospel.

Chris serves as the Development Director with the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf (CCCD). Chris’s ministry is focused on supporting the various aspects of CCCD through awareness building, fundraising, and trips to Jamaica to support operations on the campuses as needed. Chris’s ministry is diverse, but it’s all centered around engaging, equipping, and empowering the Deaf community to be all that God created them to be.
