The Western church is aging. Young adults are disappearing from the pews—but not necessarily because they are opposed to the church or a pursuit of faith. The lessons of the global church are vital at this moment for young people in North America to experience first-hand. The global church can be a conduit for education and inspiration and help broaden the horizons of what the church can look like. It’s our job to make the global church accessible in this way.

Grace serves as the coordinator of young adult global engagement. Grace connects young people with RCA mission partners through travel experiences that bring the faith of young adults to life through real-world experiences and interactions. Her goal is to help young people understand what it means to be a Christian in different parts of the world so they will understand their faith in new ways and be re-energized about playing an active role in the church’s future.
