Beyond the gates of the compound stretches a busy dirt road bordered by small shops, a warehouse, and many worn down mud-brick houses. This is just one corner of Niamey, Niger’s capital, where its one million residents are daily confronted with the challenges of climate, unemployment, and lack of basic necessities including food and basic health care. The compound is home to CADR, the development office of the Evangelical Church of the Republic of Niger. CADR now operates two clinics, a university (nursing school presently), and a guesthouse.

The Beebouts support all these ministries, providing affordable healthcare to folks from all over the country who regularly battle with recurrent malaria, diarrhea, and respiratory infections. The clinics and CADR staff have created a welcoming community where health issues and other challenges, life stories, and faith in God are shared.

Give to Niger - Doutchi Clinic
Since 2009, RCA’s partner the Evangelical Church of Niger has provided quality healthcare to the poor and undeserved people in their community. Via healthcare, this ministry seeks to conduct holistic Christian outreach and witness to their neighbors. Under leadership of RCA Missionary Dr. Susan Beebout and the medical ministry team, the second clinic, located in Dogon Doutchi, opened in early 2021. There are still many needs for this clinic as it continues to grow and serve its surrounding community.
Give to Niger Medical Ministry
Providing quality healthcare to their poor and underserved Muslim neighbors is one part of outreach and witness for Dr. Susan Beebout and her ministry colleagues in Niger in partnership with the Evangelical Church of the Republic of Niger. A 24-hour health clinic in Niamey and a second clinic being built in the interior of the country with plans to become a hospital serve as the main points of care and outreach. In collaboration with local universities, the medical ministry also trains and equips medical students. Your gift helps subsidize and supplement the medical needs of the ministry while also bearing Christ’s witness in the process.

Give to Niger - Sahel Academy Relocation
Your gift will help successfully relocate Sahel Academy in Niger. This necessary move will permit a continuation of high-quality Christian education for the children of missionaries and other children in the area. This school allows RCA missionaries Jeremy and Susan Beebout to both serve in ministry with the Evangelical Church of the Republic of Niger while assuring their children receive the education necessary to continue their studies in the U.S. upon graduation.

After 16 years of mission service in Niger, West Africa, Jeremy and Susan Beebout and their family have transitioned from their time on the mission field back to the United States.
