Imagine fleeing your home due to threats to your safety and security. Imagine embarking on a dangerous journey across land or sea to ask for protection from another community or country, not knowing if they will welcome you with open arms, imprison you, or exploit you. Imagine living
in overcrowded and poorly constructed refugee camps, not knowing if your daily needs will be met.

As Refugee Ministries Coordinator, JJ works with ministry partners locally, nationally, and globally to provide compassionate, Christ-like care for refugees and displaced people. She also educates individuals and congregations on global forced displacement and the people affected worldwide, and equips them to live out the biblical mandate to care for those seeking refuge.

Give to Italy - Refugee Empowerment Fund
Every year, thousands of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers risk their lives on the treacherous Mediterranean Sea, desperately pursuing safety and a new beginning in Europe. RCA Global Mission partner, Mediterranean Hope, founded by the Federation of Evangelical Churches in Italy (FCEI), is dedicated to creating safe and legal pathways for these individuals—their newest avenue is through community sponsorships. Mediterranean Hope's community sponsorship model for refugee resettlement will enhance the integration of migrants into their new home country and will foster positive relationships between refugees and host communities. Your support will directly impact the lives of refugees by helping community sponsors cover essential resettlement costs, ensuring refugees arriving in Italy receive the care and welcome they need to thrive in their new homes.
