The opportunity

Onesimos Nesib Seminary is a regional seminary of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church of Mekane Yesus that is committed to preparing leaders for ministry and church service. All courses are in English. Trained Christian educators, pastors, and professors are needed to teach intensive courses (of one to two weeks or three to four weeks) and semester courses in Old Testament, New Testament, pastoral care and counseling, theology, worship, ethics, etc. The academic year is from mid-September to the third week of June, with breaks for Christmas (three weeks) and Easter (two weeks). Fall is the best time for volunteer intensives. Up to three people may volunteer at a time.
