About John Hubers
In his new Global Mission position, John Hubers serves as a catalyst and resource person for RCA congregations and leaders engaging in ministry among people of other religions and refugees in our increasingly diverse society. It's a calling arising out of the biblical vision of the church as the body of Christ in the world, serving a diverse society where religious and cultural differences too often act as barriers to communicating and living the good news.
John has followed God in mission to three Middle Eastern countries, three congregations in the U.S., a five-year supervisory role with RCA Global Mission, and seven years teaching missions at Northwestern College. In this work his calling was to equip the saints for their witness to the world, wherever God calls them. He says the challenge in this new role will be extending that equipping ministry to the whole denomination, particularly churches and leaders working in areas of great diversity.
