About Lois Wanyoike
Lois's family taught her what love is, gave her a shoulder to lean on, and encouraged her as she grew up. She says, "Without them, I would not be the person I am today."
Unfortunately, around half of the children in Botshabelo, South Africa, do not have a supportive family, either because they are orphans or their parents are unable to care for them. These children often end up in institutional care or are forced to fend for themselves.
Setshabelo Family and Child Services (SFCS) helps families stay together and places children with local adoptive and foster families instead of institutional care. Lois's ministry focuses on raising support for SFCS and inviting North American churches and partners to join in our mission to provide loving families and supportive care for all of Botshabelo’s orphans and vulnerable children.
