Egypt

The Evangelical Mission Hospital (EMH) in Aswan, Egypt has a 100+ yr history. There is a propitious confluence of factors that makes this hospital a good location to serve in the Islamic world! EMH is well trusted by its’ mostly Muslim patients. EMH has needs and many open doors. Lack of nurses hampers the hospital and lack of Christian nurses hampers I Thess 2: 4 efforts.

The RCA has partnered with Evangelical Mission Hospital to provide tuition support for Egyptian men and women to go to nursing school ($3,000/yr for 3 or 4 yrs). Recently we expanded this RCA mission project to help cover stipends for the Christian-based Family Practice Residents at EMH ($5,000 / yr for 2 or 3 years. This help benefits EMH with a truly compounding effect! It is a good story that needs to be told!
