Living Fire Leadership Ministries has a new name and a new face. Re-launched this year as The Journey, the leadership development program has been streamlined to enable more people to participate.

For 15 years, Old Saratoga Reformed Church and First Presbyterian Church in Oneonta have partnered to do mission work at the Pringle Home Orphanage in St. Mary's Parish, Jamaica.

For the first 18 years of my life, almost every church event I went to was attended by me and people my own age, many of whom had gone through similar experiences to my own. We were teenagers looking for our place in this world. High school ended and that place had become foggy and unclear. 

Creative outreach by a vibrant black congregation in Paterson, New Jersey, is having great results.

My name is Sandra Dancer. On January 15, 1961, I was born into a dysfunctional family. I was to be the third daughter. My mother was a factory worker. My father worked for my grandfather in the sanitation department and was a practicing alcoholic, so I was quite familiar with yelling, screaming, and violence.
