Yucatan International Academy (YIA) is a start-up university committed to a Christian worldview while ministering to a diverse student body from a lovely campus in rural Yucatan, Mexico. The academy is seeking volunteer professors. While preference will be given to those with an earned doctorate or master’s degree, candidates with a bachelor's degree are welcome to apply to join our team. Special emphasis is desired for those with expertise in ESL, English, education, philosophy, and international relations/political science. Fluency in Spanish is desirable but not required.

The campus in Cenotillo, Yucatan, is beautiful and in an exceptionally safe community. Professors will receive apartment-style accommodations, and free meals are available when classes are in session. Apartments are furnished and include a kitchen.
There will be staff outings to the world famous Mayan ruins, the beautiful colonial city of Merida, and the world famous beaches.
BS or BA degree required. Background in ESL, English, education, philosophy, or international relations/political science is preferred. Spanish fluency is helpful but not required. Must have a valid U.S. or Canadian passport.
