On Friday, Brad Lewis had successful heart bypass surgery following acute coronary ischemia earlier in the week. Brad is a former RCA General Synod president and current moderator of the Ministerial Formation Certification Agency board of trustees. Brad will likely remain in the hospital for a few more days and is anticipating a three-month recovery period. Brad and his wife, Cathy, are hoping for a complete recovery and are grateful for your prayers.

Brad’s doctors did a catheterization and surgically installed a heart pump in preparation for bypass surgery on Friday or Monday. Doctors are pleased with his initial neurological responses.
