You aren’t fully aware of the nearly decade or more process that it took to get to this place, but you are beyond grateful to the people who made it happen. For you, this is a new beginning.

David Ford works as a scripture typesetter with SIL Ethiopia. Sent jointly by RCA Global Mission and Wycliffe Bible Translators, David prepares completed translations of the Bible for publication and printing, focusing especially on Ethiopia’s 87 languages. Typesetting is an often-overlooked part of translation work, but it is vital to completing each scripture project. With only a few skilled workers to accomplish this final step, David’s role is pivotal for more people to have access to scripture in their heart languages.
