Youth Ministry: Are You Ready for Leaders on the Horizon?
You have a passion to see young people realize their destinies. You see that members of your high school youth group have the potential to become leaders. How do you help them discover their identity, grow in their gifts, develop their character, and gain the skills they need to lead the church of the 21st century? Leaders on the Horizon helps youth workers raise up the next generation of leaders in the church.
It starts with deep relationships--the youth worker, a lay youth leader, and four to five students meet weekly to pray, study Scripture, develop leadership skills, and hold each other accountable.
In addition, each student is paired with a Christian mentor outside of the youth ministry. The student and mentor meet monthly to talk about life and faith.
Leaders on the Horizon provides:
- a retreat center
- detailed lesson plans
- student worksheets
- weekly devotionals
- a mentor training packet
- ongoing support
