“You’ve heard the stories,” Ken Neevel told General Synod on Saturday morning. “You’ve seen the examples of people, of churches, of communities that are being changed as a result of Transformed & Transforming.
“God is at work in the RCA, and we have the privilege of being partners in that work.”
Neevel, as director of development and facilitation for the RCA, gave a progress update on Called: The Campaign for Transformed & Transforming. Funds from the $6.5 million capital campaign will support initiatives of Transformed & Transforming (the RCA’s 15-year ministry goal), along with the building of a new ministry center.
Neevel reported that $5.7 million, 88 percent of the campaign goal, is now funded or pledged.
Delegates were invited to invest in Transformed & Transforming with a gift to the capital campaign.
