Getting to the roots of abuse in the church
There will be free webinar opportunities coming in 2019,
so please watch out for them!
The global movements of #metoo and #churchtoo have reinforced the sad reality that sexual abuse is a systemic evil in our world. The most current statistics from The National Sexual Violence Resource Center show that in the U.S., one in three women and one in six men experience some form of contact sexual violence in their lifetime. When this abuse happens in a church community, the effects can be even more devastating, jeopardizing theological understanding, life-giving relationships and spiritual life. Join us for this webinar and share your experiences as faith leaders around these challenges.
Find support as we lift one another up and explore ways to create open, safe spaces for men and women to come together, have transformative conversations and address the social changes necessary to heal our community and the world.
