Meet the initiative leaders who are helping the RCA live into the mission of Transformed & Transforming.

 

Ken Eriks, director of special projects


Ken is on our executive leadership team and co-leads the Reformed Leadership Initiative with the CRCNA. His work has a special focus on developing a culture of generosity in churches.

 

Eliza Cortés Bast, coordinator for Local Missional Engagement


Eliza leads the Local Missional Engagement initiative, which helps congregations bring reconciliation, justice, and hope to people in their communities.

 

Andy Bossardet, coordinator for equipping thriving congregations


Andy oversees the Thriving Leaders, Thriving Churches initiative, which supports leadership teams of RCA churches in ongoing spiritual transformation. This includes Ridder Church Renewal, coaching, first-call pastors, and pastoral transitions.

 

Terry DeYoung, coordinator for Disability Concerns


Terry works with congregations to find ways to fully involve people with disabilities in the life, ministry, and mission of the church.

 

  

Randy Weener, director of Church Multiplication


Randy and the Church Multiplication team offer resources, training, and support to church planters, regional synods, and parent churches across North America.

 

Earl James, coordinator for Advocacy


Earl leads the Advocacy initiative, which helps the RCA improve its cultural agility and advocate for compassionate justice.

 

Stephanie Soderstrom, coordinator for Volunteer Engagement


Stephanie runs the Volunteer Engagement initiative, which engages all generations of volunteers in service for Christ, both locally and abroad.

 

Liz Testa, coordinator for Women’s Transformation and Leadership


Liz works with congregations to recognize and empower the gifts of all women in the life, ministry, and mission of the church.
