Planting churches in North America and beyond

Our goal is to reach 100,000 people with the gospel

So many people across North America don’t know Jesus; many of them are people you know. Church planting is one of the most effective ways to reach people, so we’re starting 1,000 new churches in 20 years. We’re planting these churches to introduce 100,000 people to Jesus and raise them up as disciples. You’re part of this—or you could be.

God is sovereign and will bring the gospel to the darkest places. We can be part of that, too. Let’s be fearless.

The vision for planting

Why plant churches?

People need to know the love of God and the power of that love in their lives. Church plants are more effective at reaching people who don’t know Jesus. Why? It’s simple: it’s their whole purpose. Evangelism is one of many focuses at an established church, but it’s the primary call of a church plant.

We’re not in this alone

Partnerships are an advantage in this work.

Reformed Church in America

Being part of a denomination like the Reformed Church in America means classes, regional synods, and churches are organized and able to work together. Individual churches don’t usually have that level of connection or support. The long history of the RCA (almost 400 years!) grounds us, as the gospel compels us forward.

Sending churches

Partnering with established churches is a huge blessing to new church plants and it's a two way street. Sending churches provide relationship, guidance, prayer and financial support. In return they grow in vitality, enthusiasm for the gospel, and learn from the church plant. As church plants grow and become self-sustaining, they send out new congregations themselves, growing a multiplication system where planting new churches is embedded in their very DNA.

RCA Global Mission

Historically, the RCA has planted churches within the United States and Canada. Now we’re also planting internationally, in partnership with RCA Global Mission, benefitting from their 300 years of experience as we start churches in Nepal, Hungary, Kenya, the Netherlands, India, Thailand, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and more.
