Creating healthy ministry environments for men and women
Saturday, July 7, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
First Reformed Church
420 Central Avenue NW
Orange City, Iowa
How do we intentionally create trusting and healthy ministry environments for men and women to serve together? What questions do you have, beliefs do you need to reconsider, or fears do you need to release that prevent you and your congregation from creating authentic and supportive relationships for everyone? Join us for this day-long workshop in a retreat-like setting to share the joys and challenges of partnering in ministry with someone of a different gender than you. Explore Scripture, hear stories, identify your current realities, and imagine new pathways that can result in greater flourishing for women and men as they partner together in your ministry context.
This free day long workshop for pastors, consistories, lay leaders will include:
- Opening Devotion
- Interactive Bible study
- Story-sharing from community leaders
- Case studies of flourishing ministry models
- Congregational planning of current realities and practical next steps
- Group conversation and personal reflection time
