Meals and Food Accommodations

All meals will be provided by the Westin Catering team. Meals will be listed on the Synod schedule along with the location for each meal. All meals will be held in the Arizona Foyer unless otherwise specified.

Dietary Needs: The Westin Catering team has a list of all dietary needs that were provided in registration. If you have a dietary need, all buffet meals will be clearly labeled with dietary restrictions. For plated meals, you will be provided a card at check-in that you will set next to your water glass so the Westin Catering team can easily identify what you need without you needing to ask. If at any point you have a question about the options, please speak with any of the catering staff or find Andrea at the Information desk. 

Spouse meals: If you are purchasing a spouse meal package, it will be expected that your spouse will attend all meals with you, including special meals that you sign up for in registration. There are two meal package options:

1. $475 – All meals from breakfast on Thursday, June 13, through breakfast on Tuesday,
   June 18
2. $325 – Lunch and Dinner (no breakfast) from breakfast on Thursday, June 13, through
   breakfast on Tuesday, June 18

Pre-Registered Meals

New Delegate Dinner

This catered meal is by reservation only and is open to anyone who is a first time delegate to General Synod. This will be an opportunity to meet other first-time delegates, get to know people, and ask questions. Several General Synod officers and staff will also be present at this dinner and available to answer questions or just to chat. If you are signed up for this meal, it will be indicated on your name tag.

Women’s Connection Dinner

This catered meal is by reservation only and is for any and all delegates who celebrate the gifts and leadership of women and flourishing ministry environments where everyone serves freely and fully together. Delegates and participants will have an opportunity to sign up during registration. If you are signed up for this meal, it will be indicated on your name tag.

The Women’s Connection dinner is open to all. If you purchased a spouse meal package and registered for the meal, your spouse is covered. If you did not purchase a spouse meal plan during registration, you may reach out to Rev. Elizabeth Testa (etesta@rca.org) for further information about purchasing a meal pass just for the Women’s Connection dinner.

Regional Synod meal gatherings

The following regional synods will be meeting together over a meal, and all voting and corresponding delegates in the synod are expected to attend their assigned regional synod meal. All delegates will go through the buffet line and take their meal to their assigned room.
