Lebanon Displacement Relief Project
Since October 7, 2023, the ongoing and escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine is not only affecting people living in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank, but also other Middle Eastern countries, including Lebanon, which borders Israel to the north.
More than 100,000 people have been forcibly displaced from their homes in Southern Lebanon and have fled north toward Beirut. A network of interfaith Lebanese leaders are working together to provide emergency housing, food, clean water, medicine, diapers, and mattresses.
In addition, residents in several small, predominantly Christian communities in the south have decided to stay in their homes, putting them in the middle of ongoing rockets between Lebanon and Israel and out of access to basic necessities like food, clean water, medicine, and diesel fuel for electricity and heating just as winter begins to set in.
Your support will help provide humanitarian aid to those forcibly displaced in the north of Beirut and also those in the predominantly Christian communities who have decided to stay in the war zone.
