As introduced in our fall 2022 update, the restructuring team is holding a series of gatherings around the U.S. and Canada. We’ve scheduled 13 in-person gatherings between January and April 2023, and there will be one online event in May for anyone who is unable to attend one of the in-person gatherings.
These events are designed for participants to hear updates from the restructuring team—what we have been working on, where we are now, and the outcomes which, after much discernment, we feel called to restructure around. Participants will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on what they hear.
These gatherings are open to everyone who is a part of the RCA. Because the team doesn’t have the contact information for everyone who could possibly attend, we’re asking churches and pastors in the areas of each event to help us get the word out; in the month before each gathering, we’re sending email invitations with information as well as announcement text that churches can place in their bulletins to help extend the invitation to as many people as possible. If you live in the area of an event but don’t receive a direct invitation, please consider this your invitation!
