It is important to remember that ministers will pay 15.3% of the fair rental value of the parsonage in self-employment taxes. Half of this amount (7.65%) is factored into the SECA tax assistance reflected in the final calculation. Fair Market Value is the annual amount, not the monthly rent amount.
